1. Who we are

Velvet Score ("we", "our") operates the Velvet Score mobile application and Telegram Mini App, providing sports predictions and statistical insights for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not offer real-money betting or gambling services.

2. Data we collect

We collect information necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account data: When you sign in (e.g. with Google or Telegram), we receive and store identifiers such as email, name, and profile picture as provided by the provider.
• Telegram Mini App: If you use Velvet Score via Telegram, we collect your Telegram user ID and username to create and manage your account. This data is used only for authentication and service delivery.
• Usage data: App usage, feature interactions, and general analytics (e.g. device type, app version) to improve the product.
• Predictions and preferences: Your predictions and saved preferences (e.g. favourite leagues) are stored to provide personalised features and history.
• Advertising: The app shows ads (e.g. via Google AdMob). Ad providers may collect or use device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID on Android) and usage data to deliver and measure ads. This is described further in our Cookie Policy and in the privacy notices of our ad partners (e.g. Google's Privacy Policy).

3. How we use your data

We use the data above to: provide and personalise the app; maintain your account and prediction history; improve our algorithms and product; show and measure ads (where the app is ad-supported); send important service updates; and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing. Our ad partners may use data (e.g. Advertising ID, device information) for ad delivery and measurement in accordance with their own policies.

4. Legal basis and retention

We process your data where necessary to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests (e.g. security and product improvement), or with your consent where required. We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and safety purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights or request account deletion, contact us at support@velvetscore.online.

6. Security and third parties

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. We may use third-party services (e.g. hosting, analytics, authentication, advertising such as Google AdMob) that process data on our behalf under strict agreements. Ad partners may use identifiers and usage data for ad delivery and measurement. We do not sell your data. You can control ad personalisation (e.g. via your device settings or Google ad settings) where available.

7. Children

Our service is not directed at children under the age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from such users.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
